Entry qualification | Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Previous education: Bachelor degree of Engineering Science in Computer Science or Information Technology. Students must provide a final undergraduate-level study diploma, degree transcript and diploma supplements. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations in English along with verified copies of the original. All education documents not originally in English must be accompanied by official translations which you can receive directly from your school, or you may get a notary-approved translation. |

Other requirements | At least 2 reference(s) must be provided. A motivation letter must be added to your application. As part of the admissions process, the student will be invited to an online interview. They may record it at a time of their choosing but no later than 7 days from the time of receiving an invitation. More details will be provided after application submission. Additionally, applicants must complete an entrance examination in Information Technology. Students, who obtained their Bachelor degree at least two years before, have to submit a report (5 to 10 pages) about a freely chosen and topical research problem in the field of Computer Science or Information Technology. Overview
Objective of the study programme is to educate high qualification specialists for professional activity in the field of technologies and telecommunication with specialization in software engineering or management of information technology projects.
Programme structure
The A PART of the study programme is formed by the General education courses in the amount of 36 ECTS.
The General education courses: Study Project (IT project planning), General Quality Management, Project Management and Modelling of Business Processes, Latvian Language I, II.
The B PART of the study programme is formed by the branch courses of the professional specialization in the amount of 96 ECTS.
The branch courses of the professional specialization: IT project management: Business Intelligence, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Study project (IT project implementation), Qualification practice I, II, Research practice.
Master thesis in the amount of 30 ECTS.

Graduates may work in organizations that carry out software development, deployment, maintenance, providing consulting of information technology and audit of information systems.
